Original job description

Job Requirements At Quest Global, it’s not just what we do but how and why we do it that makes us different. With over 25 years as an engineering services provider, we believe in the power of doing things differently to make the impossible possible. Our people are driven by the desire to make the world a better place - to make a positive difference that contributes to a brighter future. We bring together technologies and industries, alongside the contributions of diverse individuals who are empowered by an intentional workplace culture, to solve problems better and faster.

Purpose To build the human interface to intelligent engineering. You will design and develop the front-end and full-stack experiences that make advanced automation, AI copilots, and data-driven tools intuitive, trusted, and indispensable for engineers across the Controls Alliance. This role turns powerful systems into usable systems - ensuring that innovation is not only technically brilliant but genuinely adopted.

What You Will Build You will help create the user-facing layer of the 5× productivity ecosystem, including: · Web applications for engineering tools and configurators · Interfaces for AI copilots, validation engines, and workflow automation · Dashboards and operational views integrated with Power BI and Fabric · Consistent UI frameworks and component libraries shared across tools · Secure, responsive, and high-performance experiences used daily by engineers Your work will be seen, touched, and relied upon - every single day.

Key Responsibilities

Build Intuitive, High-Quality User Experiences · Design and implement modern, responsive web interfaces that make complex engineering workflows simple and clear. · Translate abstract system behavior, AI outputs, and validation results into understandable, actionable experiences. · Partner with UI/UX designers to implement design systems, component libraries, and accessibility standards.
Develop Robust Full-Stack Applications · Build full-stack features using modern frameworks (React, Angular, or similar) backed by scalable APIs and services. · Integrate front-end applications with automation engines, copilot services, data pipelines, and workflow orchestration layers. · Ensure reliability, performance, and security across the stack.
Enable Platform Consistency and Reuse · Contribute to shared UI components, layout patterns, and interaction models used across the innovation ecosystem. · Implement API contracts and front-end service abstractions that support composability and long-term maintainability. · Follow architectural standards and guardrails defined by the Principal Architect.
Collaborate Deeply Across Disciplines · Work closely with Senior Software Tools Architects, ML Engineers, Data Engineers, and Controls SMEs to align user experience with system intent. · Participate in design reviews, sprint planning, and rapid POCs that move concepts from idea to production.
Build for Adoption and Trust · Instrument applications with telemetry and usage analytics to understand adoption, friction points, and performance. · Iterate based on real user feedback from early adopters and value-stream pilots. · Help ensure tools feel reliable, predictable, and trustworthy - especially where AI is involved.

Metrics of Success · Adoption and active usage of tools (DAU/MAU) · Reduction in task completion time and user friction · Consistency of UI/UX across the tool ecosystem · Performance, responsiveness, and stability of applications · Positive feedback from engineers and early adopters

We are known for our extraordinary people who make the impossible possible every day. Questians are driven by hunger, humility, and aspiration. We believe that our company culture is the key to our ability to make a true difference in every industry we reach. Our teams regularly invest time and dedicated effort into internal culture work, ensuring that all voices are heard.

We wholeheartedly believe in the diversity of thought that comes with fostering a culture rooted in respect, where everyone belongs, is valued, and feels inspired to share their ideas. We know embracing our unique differences makes us better, and that solving the worlds hardest engineering problems requires diverse ideas, perspectives, and backgrounds. We shine the brightest when we tap into the many dimensions that thrive across over 21,000 difference-makers in our workplace.

Work Experience

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. · 4+ years of experience building full-stack or front-end-heavy applications in production environments. · Strong proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript, modern frameworks (React preferred), and REST or GraphQL APIs. · Experience integrating with backend services, authentication/authorization, and data visualization components. · Familiarity with cloud-native development, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps practices. · Ability to work effectively in distributed, cross-regional teams. Bonus Skills · Experience building UX for complex technical or engineering systems · Familiarity with AI-powered interfaces, copilots, or data-driven dashboards · Exposure to Power BI embedding or Fabric-backed applications

Why This Role Matters Innovation only succeeds when people can use it - confidently, efficiently, and without friction. Your work ensures that advanced automation, AI, and data intelligence feel like a natural extension of how engineers already think and work. You are not just building interfaces. You are shaping how engineers experience the future.

Benefits

Best in Industry complying with regional policies.
