About this Role
Quanta Services is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Junior OneStream Support Engineer to support our OneStream platform and our metadata management and account reconciliation tools, currently OneStream Application Control Manager (ACM) and Hyperion Data Relationship Management (DRM). This is an entry-level role built for someone who wants to grow into a financial systems specialist. We provide structured training, and no prior OneStream, ACM, or DRM experience is required. This role starts with day-to-day support, user access, and metadata maintenance, then takes on configuration, data integration, and enhancement work as skills develop. The Junior OneStream Support Engineer works with finance, accounting, and IT teams to keep these systems accurate, secure, and reliable, and also helps support migrations to new or replacement platforms as our financial systems landscape evolves.
What You'll Do
Metadata Management and Account Reconciliation Tools (Primary Focus)
- Provide day-to-day support for our metadata management and reconciliation tools (currently ACM and Hyperion DRM), answering user questions and resolving issues;
- Maintain hierarchies, properties, and metadata changes (currently in Hyperion DRM), following change-governance processes and keeping metadata consistent across connected systems;
- Support account reconciliation and control processes (currently in ACM), including user setup, templates, and monitoring;
- Help manage user access and security roles in these systems so permissions stay appropriate; and
- Monitor system performance and scheduled processes and escalate problems promptly.
OneStream Platform Support
- Support the OneStream platform for close, consolidation, planning, and reporting, including metadata, workflows, and security;
- Assist with configuration and customization, including business rules and calculations, under guidance from senior team members;
- Build and maintain basic dashboards, reports, and data visualizations; and
- Troubleshoot and resolve user-reported issues with minimal disruption to the business.
Data Integration and Integrity
- Monitor data integration processes so data flows accurately and on time between OneStream, our metadata and reconciliation tools, ERPs, and other financial systems; and
- Check data quality and flag discrepancies for resolution.
System Maintenance
- Assist with regular maintenance, testing, upgrades, patching, and backups.
Documentation and Training
- Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures; and
- Help deliver end-user training and share best practices for OneStream and our metadata and reconciliation tools.
Project Support
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects and help implement new features and enhancements that meet business requirements, including support for migrations to new or replacement platforms as our systems evolve.
What You'll Bring

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain technical topics to finance users;
- Working knowledge of SQL and Excel, plus familiarity with data integration or ETL concepts; and
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities, and to work both independently and as part of a team.
