Qualified Staffing is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Quality Control Associate for a full-time opportunity in Petersburg, VA.

This position is responsible for checking outgoing automotive parts orders for accuracy, organizing daily picking and packing activities, and helping ensure shipments are prepared correctly. The ideal candidate has knowledge of automotive parts, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a busy warehouse environment.

Automotive parts knowledge is essential! Experience with British automotive parts is a plus.

What You'll Do

• Inspect picked orders to ensure the correct automotive parts and quantities are ready for shipment.

• Compare products against pick tickets and correct order discrepancies.

• Print, organize, and distribute orders to warehouse picking and packing teams.

• Coordinate daily picking and packing activities to support efficient order processing.

• Track order volumes and maintain accurate shipping records.

• Communicate with sales staff regarding special orders, shipping changes, and product availability issues.

• Apply appropriate shipping labels and special handling instructions to orders.

• Notify packing staff when products require additional protection during shipment.

• Help resolve order issues and maintain accuracy throughout the shipping process.

• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.

• Perform all other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

• Knowledge of automotive parts required; British car parts experience preferred.

• Previous warehouse, shipping, order fulfillment, or quality control experience is a plus.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify order errors.

• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

• Ability to perform basic math and maintain accurate records.

• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently or with a team.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.

• Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and repetitive movements.

• Ability to climb ladders up to 4 feet.

• Ability to lift and handle up to 40 pounds, including lifting items to approximately 4 feet.

• Comfortable working in an active warehouse environment.
