Pay: $37,000–$41,000 per year

Position Summary

Our client, a global manufacturer of forensic science and crime scene investigation products, is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join their Finance team. This role focuses primarily on Accounts Receivable (AR), with additional Accounts Payable (AP) support. The ideal candidate is organized, motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and post daily customer payments, including checks, wires, and credit card transactions.

• Monitor customer accounts, follow up on past-due balances, and communicate collection issues to management.

• Ensure bank transactions and outgoing payments are accurately recorded.

• Maintain accurate electronic financial records and filing systems.

• Work with Customer Service to manage customer credit holds and releases.

• Respond to customer phone calls and emails regarding account inquiries.

• Reconcile prepaid sales deposits and credit card payments.

• Assist with vendor payment setup and Accounts Payable duties as needed.

• Support daily accounting operations and follow company safety procedures.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of Accounts Receivable and/or Accounts Payable experience.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.

• Experience with MAS 200 preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Good written and verbal communication skills.

• Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
