Position Summary

Qualified Staffing is seeking a Flexwood Repair team member for a manufacturing opportunity. In this role, you will inspect wood veneer sheets for imperfections and damage, then repair areas as needed using a hand sander and wood putty. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, quality-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Inspect wood veneer sheets for imperfections, damage, and defects.

• Repair damaged or imperfect areas using a hand sander and wood putty.

• Evaluate completed work to ensure compliance with work instructions and quality standards.

• Inspect veneer sheets to verify they meet required specifications.

• Meet and maintain acceptable production levels.

• Identify and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.

• Complete required production forms and documentation.

• Understand lockout/tagout safety procedures.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and equipment.

• Follow all prescribed workplace safety regulations.

• Assist in other production areas as needed.
