Join Our Caring Team! Qualicare Home Care Services is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Companion Caregiver to support a client in Bayonne, NJ.

We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to advocate for the client's needs and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for the client's needs and preferences
• Communicate effectively with the client, family, and care team
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with light housekeeping and laundry
• Prepare light meals and snacks
• Accompany the client to grocery stores and appointments
• Run errands and assist with everyday activities

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving or companion care experience preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
• Compassionate, reliable, organized, and proactive
• Comfortable accompanying clients on outings and running errands
• Must be available for the entire fixed schedule
• Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
• Ability to travel around location territory
• Access to internet/mobile phone
