What You’ll Do
- Lead quality initiatives across assigned product lines to improve consistency, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
- Implement controls identified through FMEA, including updates to batch sheets and SOPs and establishment of specifications, control limits, and trend rules in SPC systems.
- Review intermediate and finished-product control charts through the Process Control System (PCS), investigate trends, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Investigate and resolve out-of-control (OOC) product parameters during material production.
- Lead and participate in Material Review Board (MRB) activities related to product quality issues.
- Conduct technical process audits to confirm manufacturing procedures and SOPs are being followed.
- Evaluate technical changes to product families and review or approve qualification plans.
- Prepare Product Change Notifications (PCNs) and partner with customers to address issues identified during qualification testing.
- Investigate and resolve customer quality and product performance complaints using structured root-cause investigation methodologies.
- Analyze customer requests for tighter specifications or control limits, assess supporting data and potential costs, and partner with Marketing and internal stakeholders to develop appropriate responses.
- Respond to customer requests regarding specifications, control plans, manufacturing process flows, and quality systems.
- Identify opportunities to reduce batch-to-batch variation, improve raw-material consistency, control critical-to-function parameters, eliminate unnecessary manual steps, and maintain stable manufacturing processes.
- Support supplier visits and audits as required.
What You’ll Bring Required Qualifications
