HSE Advisor – US, Ohio – Initial 12-Month Contract – Life Sciences Be part of a next-generation pharmaceutical project that’s transforming how medicines are made. We’re supporting a major new-build facility in Ohio, a multi-billion-dollar investment designed to push the boundaries of science and engineering. We’re looking for a HSE Advisor to support this project and help deliver this world-class program. What you’ll deliver: Pressure-test SIMOps risk assessments, interface controls between construction and operating crews, area- turnover sequencing, life-safety and emergency-egress provisions.Provide advisory review of residual HSE-by-design issues and safety implications of design changes emerging during construction or commissioning.Support PSSR readiness packages, walkdowns, gap identification, and preparation before formal review.Advise on closure and documentation of declarations of conformity as systems reach mechanical completion.Review contractor safety plans and controls for hot work, confined-space entry, excavation and LOTO; spot-check expectations without taking on direct field safety supervision.

What you’ll need:

Extensive experience in HSE, process safety or engineering supporting capital projects in manufacturing or industrial environments.Hands-on participation in at least one, preferably multiple, pharmaceutical or chemical capital- project start-ups from construction through steady- state operations.SIMOps management during concurrent construction, commissioning and operational periods.Leadership or substantial participation in PSSRs; PHR facilitation or participation; regulated-environment MOC programs.
