Original job description
🚛 About Qargo Qargo is a cloud-based (SaaS) Transport Management Platform. We are a scale-up based in London, Ghent (Belgium) and Chicago, rapidly expanding across Europe and the US. The platform is an ‘all-in-one system’, handling everything from initial order entry to final invoicing. It optimises planning and has a built-in AI feature that automates lengthy manual tasks. Qargo is designed to help modern logistics operations run more efficiently, while increasing profitability and sustainability. 💼 About the Role We are looking to hire an Integrations Delivery Manager in our Chicago office. You would own the integration journey of our customers, ensuring their systems connect smoothly with Qargo’s TMS and are fully ready by the time they go live. When a US carrier or logistics company moves to Qargo, its TMS has to connect to customers, partners, telematics and accounting. You own that integration track across several onboarding projects at once. You run the integration intake at kick-off and decide what is a standard (native) integration and what needs a custom build. You set up the native integrations yourself and project-manage the custom ones with our Business Analysts. You are the customer's main contact for everything integration-related. You keep them confident about work another team is building, and you quote and bill the integration work. You act as the bridge between customers, integration partners, and our internal teams, translating operational needs into clear technical requirements and keeping integration projects on track from discovery to activation. 🔑 Key Responsibilities
- Lead the integration onboarding cycle: from initial discovery and requirements gathering to configuration, testing and activation.
- Classify each integration as native or custom, and hand custom work to a Business Analyst with clear, documented requirements.
- Act as the main point of contact for customers regarding integration topics, ensuring requirements are clearly defined and documented.
- Collaborate closely with Customer Onboarding Managers to align integrations with the broader implementation and go-live timeline.
- Coordinate with integration partners and our Professional Services team to prepare, configure and validate system connections.
- Monitor project progress, follow up on deadlines and proactively manage stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery.
- Support pre-sales discussions where integration requirements are key, capturing technical input ahead of customer sign-up.
- Hand over cleanly to the Account Manager after go-live, and handle post-go-live integration requests.
- Continuously improve documentation, processes and knowledge sharing around integrations.
- This is not a people-management role, you'll be working closely with the wider professional services team and is a hands on role.
✅ Skills & Experience
- 2+ years in a customer-facing implementation, onboarding or a technical project management role at a software company.
- You are comfortable discussing APIs, EDI and data flows with IT teams. You don't need to write code.
- You are proactive, structured and run several projects in parallel without dropping follow-ups.
- You communicate confidently with both operational and technical stakeholders.
Nice to have:
- Experience in transportation, freight or logistics software.
- Familiarity with TMS platforms or visibility providers.
- Experience quoting or scoping implementation work.
- You thrive in a fast-growing scale-up environment where ownership and initiative matter.
🤝 What We Offer
- Competitive salary and benefits package.
- A role with real ownership and direct impact.
- A flexible and trust-based working environment.
- A hybrid working environment from our office in Chicago.
- The opportunity to join an ambitious team transforming the transport industry.
