Original job description

Description Pediatrician – Founding Physician New Pediatric Practice (De Novo) | Thompson Station, Tennessee Location: Thompson Station, Tennessee Employment Type: Full-Time Practice Status: New Practice (Aligned with the Right Provider and Location)

Summary Ground-floor opportunity in a booming Tennessee market.

Build Something New - Where It’s Truly Needed We are exploring the launch of a new pediatric practice in Thompson Station and are seeking a pediatrician who wants more than a traditional associate role.

This is a rare opportunity to help build a practice from the ground up in a community with growing demand for accessible, high-quality pediatric care.

This is a provider-led expansion with flexibility around timing and location to ensure the right long-term fit. From day one, you will play a meaningful role in shaping the clinical experience, care model, and community relationships of a practice built to last.

Why Thompson Station? Thompson Station is one of the fastest-growing cities in Middle Tennessee, attracting young families at a rapid pace.

  • Just south of Franklin and Nashville
  • Large influx of new residential development and family migration
  • Strong school systems and a highly family-driven demographic
  • High demand for pediatric care with limited supply growth

This is a chance to step into a market where population growth is outpacing pediatric capacity.

The Role · Provide comprehensive pediatric care to infants, children, and adolescents · Build long-term, trusted relationships with families · Help shape clinic workflows, culture, and patient experience · Participate in community outreach and local partnerships · Collaborate closely with medical and operational leadership

Qualifications

· Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics · Eligible for state medical licensure · DEA license (or ability to obtain) · Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset · Interest in community engagement and practice-building

Compensation & Support · Highly competitive compensation package · Health, dental, and vision insurance · Generous paid time off and holidays · Malpractice coverage · Full operational and administrative support

Why This Opportunity Stands Out This is not a replacement role. It is a chance to be a founding physician in a thoughtfully designed pediatric practice serving a community with real demand.
