Substitute Paraprofessional

Job Goal: Substitute Paraprofessional will work under direction and supervision of certified staff, provide assistance to all children. Paraprofessionals will work closely with students on a regular basis in an effort to provide them with effective learning experiences. *Essential Job Functions: • Must be able to: • Assist students with completion of assignments and reinforce learning concepts • Work with students individually or in small groups within the classroom • Engage students in learning • Provide supervision during field trips • Demonstrate flexibility and responsiveness • Arrive at work promptly and attend regularly • Follow directions and work well with others • Work under the stress of deadlines • Concentrate and perform tasks accurately • React to change productively • Perform other tasks as assigned Reports To: Teacher and/or Building Principal
