Manufacturing Engineer

Work with industrial designers to refine product designs to increase producibility and decrease costs. Troubleshoot new or existing product problems involving designs, materials, or processes. Identify opportunities or implement changes to improve manufacturing processes or products or to reduce costs, using knowledge of fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment, assembly methods, quality control standards, or product design, materials and parts. Apply continuous improvement methods, such as lean manufacturing, to enhance manufacturing quality, reliability, or cost-effectiveness. Provide technical expertise or support related to manufacturing. Perform in process, final, and incoming material inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards. Conduct weekly process and ISO audits to verify adherence to procedures. Identify engineering errors and quality issues that impact efficiency, delays, or product conformity. Document internal escapes, analyze trends, and support improvements to KPIs and First Pass Yield (FPY). Use root cause analysis to determine sources of defects and support corrective actions. Drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance efficiency, throughput, and overall product manufacturing quality. Support calibration and proper use of inspection tools and equipment. *** Multiple Open Positions. ***\$94,328.00 per year.
