Substitute Nurse

Job Summary:

Seeking a qualified substitute school nurse to provide health services to students and staff on an as-needed basis. Responsibilities include assessing and managing student health concerns, administering medications, responding to medical emergencies, and maintaining health records in compliance with state regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care to students and staff. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Assess and respond to illness, injuries, and medical emergencies. Maintain accurate health records and documentation. Promote health education and wellness initiatives. Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Current Massachusetts RN or LPN license.
• School nursing experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Strong communication and assessment skills.
