We are looking for two (2) capable temporary associates to conduct a series of tests on our customers Welding System. This is a commercially available unit and is designed to be used by someone after very little training. No prior experience is necessary.
The associates will each run two units in a lab environment, following a script of tests with detailed instructions, representing use in a production environment. This involves interacting with the touch screen and occasionally switching out fixtures. They will be responsible for logging the completion of individual steps in the test plan and writing down observations – error codes, unsuccessful welds, operator errors – and the response of the unit. Technical experts are available to answer questions, conduct initial training, and respond to any questions or concerns.
These associates will be in a lab environment with few other associates working in the area. A supervisor is available and sits just outside the lab, but these associates will need to work independently.
This is a first shift assignment that is expected to run 3 weeks (targeting Oct 27 – Nov 13). These associates need to be able to sit or stand at a lab bench for long periods of time. While the units and the lab have all appropriate safeguards, it is still a lab environment and requires associates to be aware of their surroundings. No heavy lifting (over 35lbs) is expected, normal manual dexterity (interacting with latches, locks, touch screen)
