Our customers is looking for a Mechatronic Engineer.
Ideal candidate will provide hands on engineer to assist in the development, prototyping, testing, and production of industrial equipment and automation projects. Candidate will work under the engineering lead that will transform concepts, existing designs, and engineering requirements into manufacturing documentation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and modify SolidWorks parts, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings
- Design fixtures, mechanisms, brackets, enclosures, and electromechanical assemblies
- Specify, evaluate, select, and integrate components, including motors, pumps, electrical motors, gearboxes, bearings,and related mechanical and electrical components.
- Integrate motors, sensors, switches, cameras, and electronic controls into mechanical systems.
- Assist with machine vision, inspection automation, and product testing
- Support integration on microcontrollers, and PLC based equipment
Preferred Qualifications
- Industrial automation and machine vision
- PLC, microcontroller, and embedded controls
- Design for manufacturing and assembly (DFM/DFA)
- Familiarity with machining, sheet metal fabrication, and mechanical assembly
- Familiarity with Python or other program languages
