Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Contract Assignment
Location: Westernport, MD Contract Length: 13 Weeks Hours: 36 hours per week Shift: Night Shift Start: 11/16
Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 13‑week contract at a reputable healthcare facility in Westernport, MD. This role is ideal for an LPN who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, delivers high‑quality patient care, and is comfortable working night shifts with alternating weekends.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate and effective nursing care under the supervision of RNs and physicians
- Administer medications and treatments according to facility protocols
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes promptly
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support patient care plans
- Ensure compliance with facility policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Active LPN license in the state of Maryland (or compact license)
- Minimum 1 year of recent LPN experience (LTC or acute care preferred)
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to work night shift and every other weekend
- Strong communication and critical‑thinking skills
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
