Job Title:

Director Enterprise Performance Management

Company:

Prologis

A day in the life The Director of Enterprise Performance Management will design and lead an integrated system that connects Prologis’ enterprise strategy to business plans, resource decisions, performance measures, and leadership actions. This leader will bring together strategic planning, financial planning, forecasting, operating metrics, and decision support to help leaders understand performance, assess trade-offs, and respond to changing business conditions.

Working across Finance, business units, Strategy, Technology, Data, and Operations, the Director will build trusted information and actionable insights for leaders. The role will also identify appropriate ways to use AI and advanced analytics to improve forecasting, surface risks and opportunities, and support informed decisions.

Success in this role means strategy is reflected in business plans and resource decisions; leaders have timely, trusted information; planning and forecasting are integrated and responsive; and performance reviews result in clear decisions, accountable actions, and measurable follow-through. Business units will use common measures and data products while retaining visibility into their priorities, contributing to stronger execution and business results.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Define and implement an enterprise performance management model that connects strategic objectives to business-unit goals, operating plans, measures, and management routines.
  • Lead the evolution of annual and long-range planning, forecasting, scenario planning, and resource allocation processes so plans reflect strategic priorities and changing business conditions.
  • Translate strategic priorities into measurable goals, initiatives, accountable owners, milestones, and decision points across the enterprise.
  • Connect financial plans, business cases, operating metrics, and performance results to help leaders assess the impact of decisions.
  • Establish enterprise and business-unit KPIs, common definitions, reporting standards, and performance review processes.
  • Identify and implement appropriate AI and advanced analytics capabilities to improve forecasting, assess scenarios, surface trends, and highlight risks and opportunities. Ensure outputs are understandable, actionable, and used to inform leadership decisions.
  • Partner with Technology and Data teams to define and deliver the data products, platforms, analytics, and planning tools needed for reliable reporting and decision support.
  • Prepare insights and recommendations for senior leaders on investment choices, priorities, resource requirements, expected returns, and risks.
  • Establish planning and performance review routines that support timely decisions, clear accountability, and follow-through on agreed actions.
  • Build strong partnerships across Finance, business units, Strategy, Technology, Data, and Operations, aligning stakeholders on shared processes, information, and outcomes.
  • Lead adoption of new planning processes, data products, and decision practices through communication, training, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead and develop a team of performance management, planning, analytics, and product professionals, setting clear priorities and building capabilities over time.

Building blocks for success

Required:

  • Significant experience leading enterprise performance management, business planning, financial planning and analysis, strategy execution, or a related function.
  • Strong understanding of how financial plans, operating plans, performance measures, and strategic priorities connect.
  • Demonstrated experience designing or improving enterprise planning, forecasting, performance reporting, or decision-support processes.
  • Working knowledge of AI and advanced analytics, including how to identify appropriate business applications, evaluate outputs, and partner with technical teams to deliver solutions.
  • Experience partnering with Data and Technology teams on analytics platforms, data products, planning systems, or performance management tools.
  • Strong financial acumen, including experience with forecasting, scenario analysis, investment evaluation, business cases, and performance drivers.
  • Ability to turn complex information into clear insights, recommendations, and decisions for senior leaders.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders across organizational levels.
  • Experience leading organizational change and driving adoption of new processes, tools, or operating models.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.

Preferred:

  • Advanced degree or relevant professional certification.
  • Experience leading teams in performance management, planning, analytics, or product functions.

Hiring Salary Range: $147,000 - $254,000. Salary and whole compensation package (bonus target & LTI (Long Term Incentives)) to be determined by the candidate’s location, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
