Original job description
Our mission is to Profoundly change the standard of care by creating a tomorrow where clinicians can confidently ablate tissue with precision; a tomorrow where patients have access to safe and effective treatment options, so they can quickly return to their daily lives. Changing the standard of care is part of our fabric. We are a group of energetic, problem-solvers focused on innovation, and looking to change the world. We are changing the paradigm for treating diseases such as prostate cancer by using real-time MR Imaging, thermal ultrasound and close-loop temperature feedback control, to gently ablate the diseased tissue with minimal side effects.
If you share our values and want to work in a collaborative results focused culture and want to make a Profound impact in healthcare and your career, here is your chance.
**Candidate may be based in the surrounding West region, including neighboring states, provided they are located near a major airport.
General Accountability
The Regional Program Director (RPD) leads a regional team of Program Development Managers (PDMs) and owns TULSA-PRO® Procedure growth across the region. The RPD hires, trains and develops PDMs who build clinical champions, grow installed programs and deliver against quota.
This is a quota-carrying sales leadership role measured on regional procedure growth. The RPD partners with the Regional Business Director so every account has one plan, from launch to growth.
Performance Measures
- TULSA-PRO Procedure volume against regional quota, by territory and for the total region.
- Percentage of PDMs at or above quota.
- PDM hiring, ramp and retention, with each PDM rated Competent or higher on the PDM Competency Rubric by the end of ramp.
- Quarterly Business Review cadence and quality in priority accounts across the region.
- Forecast accuracy and CRM discipline across the team.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver TULSA-PRO Procedure growth against regional quota.
- Recruit, hire and onboard top PDM talent.
- Train and develop PDMs using the PDM Competency Rubric, field coaching and regular performance reviews.
- Spend the majority of time in the field with PDMs: rides, account planning, QBRs and key customer meetings.
- Build the regional business plan and set territory quotas and priorities with the VP of US Sales.
- Review every PDM's account and territory plans. Hold the team accountable to the plan.
- Manage performance: recognize top performers, coach to the standard, and address underperformance quickly and fairly.
- Engage senior hospital and IDN leaders in priority accounts to win program priority and resources.
- Partner with the Regional Business Director and Capital Sales Executives to align capital and program growth strategy.
- Work with Clinical, Marketing, Market Access, Clinical Scientists and Service to remove regional barriers to growth.
- Run the regional business rhythm: forecast, pipeline, CRM, budget, expenses and reporting to the VP of US Sales.
- Ensure team adherence to regulatory requirements, the AdvaMed Code of Ethics, internal SOPs and Profound Medical policies.
