Dispatcher

Overview

A well-established plumbing company is seeking a dispatcher to join their team. The ideal candidate will be organized, customer-focused, and comfortable coordinating service calls and technician schedules in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, computer proficiency, and the ability to multitask are essential. Pay: $18-$21/hr DOE Hours: Full-Time Benefits: 401(k) matching, Health insurance, 1 week of PTO after a year.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Answer incoming customer calls and assist with service requests
• Coordinate and schedule plumbing and heating service appointments
• Determine the best available technician for each service call based on scheduling, availability, and job requirements
• Maintain effective communication between customers, service technicians, and company employees
• Coordinate club memberships, including processing payments and scheduling routine maintenance appointments
• Update schedules and communicate appointment changes as needed
• Maintain accurate customer information and appointment records using company software

Qualifications:

• Previous dispatching experience required
• Strong customer service skills
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Efficient computer skills and the ability to learn new software quickly
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize scheduling needs
• Previous experience with FieldEdge is a plus.
