Website Publisher: On behalf of our financial client, Procom is searching for a Website Publisher for an intermediate role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Austin, Texas 78758 office. Website Publisher - Job Description: The Digital Marketing Content Author will focus on supporting high-volume business-as-usual publishing in Drupal for Schwab public websites, initially targeting the Austin market. This role involves building and updating web pages, performing quality checks, and ensuring accessibility and content standards are met, with potential involvement in content transition activities for planned initiatives.Website Publisher - Responsibilities: • Build, configure, and update public-site pages in Drupal using approved components and templates. • Enter and format content, links, metadata, and page elements according to approved source materials. • Manage content through established review, approval, staging, and release workflows. • Perform self and peer QA to verify content accuracy and compliance with publishing requirements. • Apply established accessibility requirements and remediate content-level accessibility issues. • Prepare content for publishing or transition, including inventory review, cleanup, mapping, and restructuring. • Communicate risks, issues, dependencies, and recommendations clearly and promptly. Website Publisher - Mandatory Skills: • Experience publishing and maintaining content for enterprise websites or large digital properties. • Hands-on experience with Drupal or a comparable enterprise content management system. • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, responsive web design, metadata, taxonomy, and SEO principles. • Understanding of digital accessibility requirements and content-level remediation. • Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills. • Ability to collaborate effectively with content owners, publishers, designers, and technology teams. • Experience working in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment with competing priorities. Website Publisher – Nice-to-Have Skills: • Hands-on experience with Sanity or another headless CMS. • Experience supporting large-scale website modernization or content transition activities. • Experience working within regulated review and approval processes. • Familiarity with user-centered, mobile-first, and content-usability practices. • Experience creating publishing documentation, QA checklists, or training materials.
