Location: Lenexa, KS

Shift: 3rd Shift

Schedule: 11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m., Sunday-Thursday

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Converting Operator to join our flexible packaging manufacturing team. In this role, you’ll prepare, run, and maintain high‑speed equipment to convert plastic film to a bag. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their skills in a stable, team‑oriented, and fast‑paced production environment.

What You Will Do

• Set up and complete safe operation of a pouch machine
• Monitor and adjust for differences in bag sizes during set up
• Resolve mechanical issues as needed
• Remove finished film from the machine and stage it on pallets for pickup
• Keep the pouch/bag machine area well supplied with materials for the next shift
• Continuously monitor pouch/bag machine operations for efficiency, quality and minimal scrap
• Ensure production of high quality products
• Maintain accurate production records
• Follow all safety guidelines, wear required PPE, and meet OSHA standards
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment
• Complete rework tasks as needed

What You Have to Offer

• Ability to read a measuring tape
• Strong desire to learn and grow within manufacturing
• Ability to read, write, and follow simple, clear instructions
• Previous production or manufacturing experience preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
