Print Estimator

PrintLink is recruiting an ONSITE Print Estimator for an opportunity at an exceptional printing and packaging client located in the Greater Philadelphia area.

The Estimator will develop accurate, competitive, and profitable quotes by identifying the most economical manufacturing approach while meeting customer specifications. This position requires a strong understanding of printing processes, materials, finishing operations, and production timelines.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret job specifications from sales teams and customers to determine production requirements.
• Prepare detailed estimates, quotes, and proposals that balance accuracy, competitiveness, and profitability.
• Revise estimates as specifications or project requirements change.
• Collaborate with sales, vendors, and department managers to evaluate production options and develop customer solutions.
• Recommend cost-saving opportunities through knowledge of materials, manufacturing methods, and finishing operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of estimating experience in the printing and packaging industries.
• Strong working knowledge of printing equipment, production methods, equipment running speeds, and finishing processes.
• Ability to identify the most efficient and economical production approach for each job.
• Pharmaceutical secondary packaging experience - including cartons, leaflets, and labels - preferred.
• Experience with EFI PACE or other EFI MIS systems is a plus.
• Ability to manage tight deadlines and projects of varying sizes and complexity.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication skills.
• Collaborative approach and a positive, solutions-focused attitude.
