Welder

Welder- Temp to Hire - Up to $25/hr PrideStaff is recruiting for a Welder for a manufacturing company located in Hendersonville. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated hard worker with a positive attitude!

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Sheet metal fabrication
• Set up welding machines based on the job at hand
• Read and interpret blueprints and/or drawings to determine the specific welding requirements
• MIG and TIG weld steel, aluminum and stainless steel components as well as thin-wall tubing
• Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards
• Operate machinery used in the production process, or assist machine operators
• Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilities.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• High School diploma/GED
• Minimum of two years fabrication/welding experience
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings
• Mechanical aptitude and good math skills
• Familiarity with power tools and machinery used in metal fabrication
• Basic computer skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
