Original job description

Job Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist (High-Volume Full-Cycle) Location: Coppell, TX (100% Onsite) Employment Type: Temporary / Contract-to-Hire (30–60 Day Initial Contract with Potential for Permanent Conversion) Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8-Hour Workday with 30-Minute Lunch (Flexible Shift Starts; No Overtime Allowed) Pay Rate: $24.00 – $30.00 / hour (Commensurate with Experience) About the Role Our client operates across nine U.S. and Canadian regions, and the field team that drives revenue - commission-based sales representatives, commercial door and dock technicians, and branch leadership - doesn't fill itself. Every open role represents a gap in service delivery or revenue generation. Every day a position stays open costs the business, and every wrong hire costs even more. We are seeking a high-energy, results-driven Talent Acquisition Specialist for a 30–60 day temporary assignment (with conversion potential for the right candidate) based 100% onsite in Coppell, TX. In this role, you will own the full recruitment lifecycle from strategy to sourced pipeline to offer accepted. We need a recruiter with extensive high-volume, full-cycle recruiting experience across blue-collar work, logistics, warehouse, general labor, and skilled trades. You are not just waiting on job board applications - you are actively hunting passive candidates, building deep talent pipelines, partnering closely with hiring managers, and closing top talent quickly in a competitive market. What You’ll Own The Hunt & High-Volume Pipeline Development

  • Build and maintain active pipelines for high-volume and high-priority roles - including Commercial Door & Dock Technicians, general labor, trades, and commission-based sales representatives - before requisitions even open.
  • Source aggressively through job boards, social media, trade schools, referral networks, campus/community job fairs, and direct passive outreach.
  • Act as a compelling brand ambassador in every candidate interaction, representing our client as an employer of choice.

Execution & Full-Cycle Management

  • Manage the complete end-to-end recruitment lifecycle using ADP Workforce Now - including job posting, aggressive sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, managing feedback, extending offers, and driving candidates smoothly to Day 1 onboarding.
  • Partner with hiring managers as a strategic advisor - setting clear expectations, managing hiring timelines, offering market feedback, and maintaining momentum across the hiring process.
  • Fill open requisitions with extreme urgency and precision - treating our target metric of under 40 days to fill as a minimum standard.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, handling high-volume workloads across multiple open requisitions simultaneously without losing detail or candidate experience quality.

The Standard & Compliance

  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience from first contact through onboarding.
  • Track and report key metrics continuously (time-to-fill, pipeline health, source effectiveness, and quality of hire).
  • Maintain flexibility as business priorities shift, pivoting quickly to support urgent staffing needs.
  • Support local job fairs, campus events, and trade school initiatives as scheduled.

Work Schedule & Compensation

  • Position Duration: Temporary initial contract (30 to 60 days) with a strong possibility of permanent conversion based on performance and business needs.
  • Work Location: 100% Onsite in Coppell, TX.
  • Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 8-hour workday with a mandatory 30-minute lunch break. Flexible start times available within operating hours. Strictly 40 hours per week (No overtime permitted).
  • Hourly Pay: $24.00 – $30.00/hr, depending on directly relevant experience.

Who You Are

  • A Proven High-Volume Recruiter: You thrive in high-volume environments and know how to attract, engage, and retain general labor, trade workers, warehouse, logistics, and field service professionals.
  • A True Hunter: You don't rely solely on inbound applicants. You source passive talent, leverage creative recruitment methods, and follow up relentlessly.
  • Process-Disciplined: You keep a spotless ATS desk, maintain accurate records, and consistently follow through with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Independently Driven: You operate efficiently without needing constant oversight or direction.
  • Commercially Literate: You understand technical roles, skilled trades, and commission comp structures, speaking convincingly to candidates about these opportunities.

Qualifications & Requirements

Required:

  • 4+ years of full-cycle talent acquisition experience owning the entire process from sourcing to onboarding.
  • Mandatory high-volume full-cycle recruiting experience supporting blue-collar roles, logistics, warehouse operations, general labor, or skilled trades.
  • Demonstrated experience recruiting commission-based sales professionals or technical field roles.
  • Strong hands-on proficiency with ATS platforms (ADP Workforce Now experience is strongly preferred).
  • Proven track record of managing a heavy, multi-requisition workload with discipline, detail, and urgency.
  • Ability to work 100% onsite in Coppell, TX on a full-time, 40-hour schedule (No OT).

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical recruiting experience.
  • Background recruiting in industrial services, field service, logistics, or construction-related industries.
  • Experience with trade school, vocational, or campus recruiting programs.
  • Familiarity with creative sourcing tools and trade networks beyond standard platforms.

A Direct Note to the Right Candidate If you've been in a TA role where the expectation was simply to monitor job boards and schedule interviews while someone else handled sourcing and urgency was optional, this is a different environment. If you have proven yourself as the go-to recruiter who tackles high-volume blue-collar requisitions, sources passive candidates, keeps hiring managers on track, and closes offers efficiently - you will excel here. Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $24.00 - $30.00
