Project Manager - Specialty Construction

Position: Project Manager – Specialty Construction Location: Deer Park, NY Company/Industry: Well-established architectural fabrication/specialty construction firm Schedule: On-site, Mon-Fri Salary: $100K - $150K, depending on experience, with flexibility for the right candidate Type: Direct Hire with benefits

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from award through closeout: procurement, fabrication, delivery, installation, punch list, and final turnover
• Prepare and maintain detailed project schedules; monitor progress and adjust resources as needed
• Coordinate with internal teams, fabricators, suppliers, subcontractors, and field personnel
• Attend site meetings, conduct site walks, and oversee installation progress
• Track budgets, monitor cost?to?complete, and report financial performance to leadership
• Prepare purchase orders, negotiate vendor pricing, and manage subcontractor relationships
• Document and negotiate change orders, maintain logs, and resolve claims
• Oversee shop drawings, field measurements, cut tickets, and ensure accuracy before release
• Maintain strong client communication and uphold company standards throughout the project lifecycle

Qualifications

• Experience in specialty construction is required: stone, millwork, metal & glass, façade systems, or similar
• Strong ability to read blueprints, specs, RFIs, and technical documents
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Ability to travel to job sites, suppliers, and fabricators (occasional out?of?state travel)
• Strong math skills Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $100,000.00 - $150,000.00
