Press Operatorneeded for a local automotive manufacturer.

Monday - Thursday, Fridays as needed 6:00am to 4:30pm

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Adhere to policies, daily work place organization and housekeeping; health and safety commitment; personal cleanliness and appearance; attendance and punctuality plus 100% first time quality commitment.
• Familiar with HMIs on Production Equipment.
• Ability to use Vernier Calipers.
• Performs work as assigned by department supervisor.
• Complies with work instructions.
• Addresses problem situations quickly and notifies supervisor or management immediately.
• Meets productivity requirements, committed to and produces quality work.
• Conduct duties in a safe manner, follow all safety procedures, report incidents immediately, wears proper PPE and conducts duties to their level of training.
• Other duties as assigned.

COMPETENCIES / EXPERIENCE

Must be organized and show initiative. Must be able to maintain a positive attitude and work well with others.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING

Minimum High School Diploma. Manufacturing experience needed (2 Years minimum).

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (Physical, etc.) Must be able to work weekends and rotating shifts. Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds. Must be able to be on feet for 8 hours or more.

Pay rate is $17.45/hr
