Job Summary:

PrideStaff is partnering with a premier local industrial solutions provider to find a dedicated Press Brake Operator to join their dynamic team. In this position, you will perform precision sheet metal fabrication using press brake machinery to craft high-quality components. Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, adjust, and operate hydraulic or CNC press brake machinery to bend, form, and shape sheet metal according to job specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and process sheets to determine dimensions, tolerances, and tooling requirements.
• Select, align, and secure appropriate dies, punches, and gauges for specific jobs.
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and protractors to maintain tight quality standards.
• Perform basic routine maintenance and routine cleaning of shop equipment and tooling.
• Adhere strictly to all shop safety rules, PPE requirements, and industry standards.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and shop supervisors to achieve daily production targets.

Qualifications & Special Requirements:

• Prior experience operating press brake machinery or working within a metal fabrication environment preferred.
• Strong ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measures).
• Solid mathematical ability and strong spatial/mechanical aptitude.
• High attention to detail with a focus on precision and product quality.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods during a shift.
