Order Picker / Packer – Fulfillment Associate

• Location: Fairfield, NJ
• Employment Type: Temporary / Contract (approx. 4 months)
• Pay Rate: $19.25 per hour
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 10:30 AM – 7:30 PM (Part-Time / Up to 20 hrs/week scheduled shifts)* About the Opportunity PrideStaff is partnering with an established, globally recognized luxury design brand and industry-leading wallcoverings distributor based in Fairfield, NJ. Known for craftsmanship, world-class design, and a collaborative warehouse culture, our client is seeking a detail-oriented Picker / Packer to join their fulfillment team on a temporary assignment.

Key Responsibilities

• Sample Picking & Packing: Accurately pull, package, and process product samples to fulfill daily production and shipping targets.
• Workflow & SLA Performance: Meet and exceed daily fulfillment service level agreements (SLAs) through efficient packing, quality checks, and process awareness.
• Facility Standards: Maintain a clean, organized, and inspection-ready workstation compliant with company safety and presentation guidelines.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Language & Tech Skills: Ability to read, interpret, and navigate English-language shipping documents, picking sheets, and warehouse computer screens.
• Physical Capabilities: Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods; able to lift up to 60 lbs safely.
• Reliability: Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and solid time-management skills.
• Equipment Experience (Preferred): Prior experience in fulfillment or distribution centers, including operating order pickers, reach trucks, or forklifts, is a definite plus.
