Packer / Quality Control - Overnights Bethlehem, PA 2-2-3 Schedule (rotating schedule) Hours: 7pm to 7am Pay: $18.75 Job Summary Growing Bethlehem company needs a packer to move product off machines, perform quality checks and palatize product. The machine packer ensures safety, quality, and production standards are met or exceeded. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Pack products off machines into cartons according to stacking diagrams and customer specifications without deforming product.
• Ensure correct carton quantities, verify accurate labeling, and set up/operate case sealing machinery.
• Perform quality checks, measure/test products, identify defects, and halt machinery or clear overflow areas when necessary.
• Maintain production throughput pace, remove start-up defectives, and become proficient across required core product types.
• Operate emergency stops (E-stops) safely and adhere to safety protocols, including lockout/tagout and reporting near misses.
• Assist operators and team members with tasks like stacking, area cleanup, and supporting nearby lines during downtime.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area and work overtime or perform additional duties as required by production needs. Education
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Qualifications

• Must be capable of reading work instructions and safety rules.
• Must be capable of reading a ruler and operating a calculator.
• Must be able to adapt and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be capable of maintaining good attendance.
• Ability to work as a member of a team.
• At least six (6) months of manufacturing work history desired. Physical Demands
• Stands, bends, reaches, twists, pushes, pulls, squats
• Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. from floor to waist on a regular basis.
• Must be capable of lifting up to 20 lbs. overhead on occasion.
