Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician Location: Prineville

Position Summary PrideStaff is seeking a safety-minded, skilled Maintenance Technician for a leading manufacturing facility in Prineville.

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment and machinery to ensure peak efficiency.
• Fabricate and update custom production jigs and support structural equipment needs.
• Utilize welding, mechanical, general electrical, and basic PLC troubleshooting skills.
• Maintain strict adherence to all safety protocols, with a major focus on Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair production machinery and facility equipment to ensure optimal running condition.
• Utilize designs to fabricate, update, and maintain custom jigs for high-movement equipment.
• Perform general welding, metal fabrication, and mechanical repairs.
• Safely operate facility machinery and train team members on proper equipment operation.
• Observe and enforce strict safety policies, including Lockout/Tagout protocols.
• Communicate machine status, concerns, and maintenance progress to management. Qualifications & Requirements
• Strong safety-first mindset and advanced knowledge of industrial machinery and equipment operation.
• General welding capability and metal fabrication experience required.
• Working knowledge of general electrical systems and basic PLC functionality.
• Millwright training or background is strongly preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs frequently and occasionally up to 70 lbs.
• Comfortable working in an active, covered outdoor/indoor manufacturing environment subject to weather, noise, and dust.
