MAILROOM ASSOCIATE

Pay: $20.00 / hour Schedule: Monday – Friday, 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM (Swing Shift) Note: Paid training takes place Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM for the first 1–2 weeks. Why This Position? Join a high-volume, fast-paced print and mail processing center! We are looking for detail-oriented Mailroom Associates to help handle, quality-check, and sort high-priority client mail. This is a great opportunity for candidates with manufacturing, warehouse, or machine operation experience looking for swing-shift work with overtime potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Depending on daily assignment, you will perform one or more of the following:

• Postage Meter Operation: Process mail pieces through postage meters, ensuring total accuracy and compliance with USPS regulations.
• Hand Assembly & Fulfillment: Hand-pack, staple, stuff envelopes, and prepare packets according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Fanning & Sorting: Support insertion/sorting machinery, conduct quality-control checks on finished pieces, and prepare mail trays for USPS pickup.
• Machine Set-Up & Sweeping: Set up, adjust, and monitor mail-processing machinery to ensure consistent output quality and count tracking.

Qualifications & Required Skills:

• At least 1 year of recent work experience in a production, manufacturing, mailroom, or warehouse environment.
• Prior mailroom and USPS regulatory knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs regularly throughout your shift.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Sharp attention to detail, strong work ethic, and flexibility to work overtime/adjusted hours as production needs shift.
