• Shift/Hours: Monday – Friday, 1st Shift 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Pay Rate: $17.40/hr
• Location: Elkridge, MD

PrideStaff is currently hiring a Recycling Sorter for an industrial recycling facility in Elkridge, MD.

Responsibilities:

• Sort and separate recyclable materials (paper, plastics, metals, etc.) from a moving conveyor belt.
• Identify and remove contaminants and non-recyclable items from the sorting stream.
• Maintain strict awareness of material types and quality control standards.
• Keep the immediate work area and facility grounds clean, organized, and free of debris.
• Follow all plant safety procedures and communicate workflow concerns with team members and supervisors.

Requirements:

• Must have steel toe boots.
• Comfortable performing work in both indoor and outdoor settings (loud, fast-paced, non-climate-controlled environment subject to varying weather conditions).
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, reach, and perform repetitive motion tasks for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 25–50 lbs as needed.
• Previous warehouse or general labor experience is preferred, but not required.
• Strong team-player attitude, punctuality, and commitment to workplace safety.
