General Laborer – Steel Manufacturing

Pay Rate: $14.00 per hour Hours: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 7am - 8:30pmPosition Overview PrideStaff is seeking dependable, hardworking General Laborers for a steel manufacturing and fabrication environment. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, are comfortable in an industrial setting, and are willing to learn new skills. Candidates must be safety-conscious, reliable, and able to work effectively as part of a team. Job Responsibilities

• Assist with general labor duties in a steel manufacturing and fabrication facility.
• Load, unload, move, and organize steel materials and finished products.
• Assist machine operators and fabrication personnel with daily production tasks.
• Prepare materials for cutting, welding, fabrication, and assembly.
• Use basic hand tools and power tools as directed.
• Perform material handling, sorting, stacking, and staging of steel products.
• Inspect materials for visible defects or damage.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Assist with additional production and warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous general labor, manufacturing, construction, or warehouse experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work in an industrial environment.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required.
• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and performing repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools is a plus.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Strong work ethic, dependable attendance, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
