Fulfillment Associate

Picking & Packing Associate Location: DeSoto, TX (On-site) Position Type: Temporary / Seasonal (Peak Fulfillment) Compensation: $18.00 / hour Schedule: Various shifts available (Note: Shift assignments and schedules will be confirmed upon offer/start as availability opens up) About the Role We are seeking energetic, dependable Picking and Packing Associates to join our client's warehouse team in DeSoto for the upcoming peak fulfillment season. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring customer orders are accurately selected, securely packed, and prepared for timely shipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately pick merchandise from warehouse locations using pick lists, handheld RF scanners, or voice-directed picking systems.
• Inspect items to ensure quality, correct quantities, and absence of damage.
• Safely pack, seal, and label boxes and parcels in accordance with packaging guidelines.
• Sort and stage packed cartons onto pallets or conveyor lines for shipping.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with safety standards and OSHA guidelines.
• Assist with basic inventory counting, restocking, or general warehouse tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Physical Capability: Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 35–50 lbs repeatedly throughout an 8- to 10-hour shift.
• Attention to Detail: High accuracy in reading order sheets, SKU numbers, and shipping labels.
• Reliability: Dependable transportation to/from the DeSoto facility and a strong track record of punctuality.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work peak-season hours, including potential overtime or weekend work depending on shift assignment.
• Experience: Prior experience in warehouse fulfillment, retail stocking, or distribution is a plus, but not required - entry-level candidates are welcome!
