You will receive hands-on training and direct mentorship from experienced Elevator Mechanics, gaining the expertise required to install, service, and maintain residential elevators safely and efficiently across the regional Northeast. Most Apprentices transition to a fully qualified Service Technician or Installation Mechanic within 12–18 months - unlocking post-promotion earning potential of $60,000 to $90,000+.

Key Responsibilities

• Work alongside senior mechanics to install, inspect, and service residential elevators.
• Learn to read electrical schematics, mechanical blueprints, and technical layouts.
• Operate power and hand tools safely while adhering strictly to industry safety standards.
• Lift, carry, and maneuver heavy components in job-site conditions.
• Travel throughout the Northeast region to complete client installations with a focus on quality and safety.

Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Travel: Willing and able to travel up to 90% (primarily regional Northeast travel).
• Physical Capabilities: Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and perform rigorous physical labor throughout the day.
• Work Environment: Comfortable working at heights, on ladders, and in confined or tight spaces.
• Tool & Safety Aptitude: Practical knowledge of hand tools and a commitment to job site safety.
• Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license with a clean, acceptable driving record.

Preferred Experience & Characteristics:

• Background in construction, electrical work, mechanics, or related trades.
• Military experience - veterans are strongly encouraged to apply!
• Strong customer-first attitude, high mechanical curiosity, and a drive to learn.
