Electro Mechanical Technician Job Description:

PrideStaff is working with Surface Solutions Inc. in search of an experienced Electro Mechanical Technician. Surface Solutions Inc. is a premier supplier of high-performance physical vapor deposition (PVD) coatings used to enhance the durability and performance of industrial tools and components. The Electro Mechanical Technician will install, operate, and maintain PVD coating equipment and related systems, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable performance across the facility. The ideal candidate brings strong troubleshooting capabilities across electrical and mechanical systems, thrives in a collaborative manufacturing setting, and maintains high standards for safety and quality. The Electro Mechanical Technician is a full-time, direct hire position located in Fridley, MN.

Electro Mechanical Technician Job Responsibilities:

• Install, Operate, Maintain & Optimize PVD Coating Equipment & Related Industrial Systems
• Perform Routine Inspections & Complete Scheduled Preventive & Corrective Maintenance
• Diagnose & Troubleshoot Mechanical & Electrical Issues Efficiently to Minimize Downtime
• Assist With Equipment Setup & Calibration Adjustments for Various Coating Processes
• Collaborate Closely With Production Teams to Ensure Smooth Operations & Equipment Reliability
• Document All Maintenance Performed, Repairs, Inspections & System Adjustments
• Support Continuous Improvement Initiatives by Suggesting Upgrades to Equipment & Maintenance Practices
• Adhere Strictly to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Quality Standards & Plant Safety Protocols
• Maintain a Safe, Clean, & Organized Work Area at All Times

Electro Mechanical Technician Job Requirements & Working Conditions:

• Strong Skills in Preventive & Corrective Maintenance for Electro-Mechanical & Industrial Systems
• Proven Troubleshooting Abilities to Resolve Complex Mechanical & Electrical Issues
• Foundational Knowledge of Electricity, Control Panels & Wiring Diagrams
• Ability to Read & Interpret Technical Manuals, Schematics & Engineering Drawings
• Experience Working With Industrial Machinery, Vacuum Systems, or Coating Equipment Preferred
• Relevant Technical Diploma, Certification, or Associate Degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or Related Field Preferred
• Excellent Attention to Detail, Safety Consciousness & Adherence to Procedures
• Strong Communication & Teamwork Skills in a Manufacturing Environment
