E-Commerce Shipping Associate Listing Job Description:

PrideStaff is working with a large e-commerce facility in search of an E-Commerce Shipping Associate. The E-Commerce Shipping Associate is responsible for accurately packing and shipping all online orders and assisting with in-person customer pick-ups. The E-Commerce Shipping Associate is a full-time, temp to hire hire position in Brooklyn Park, MN.

E-Commerce Shipping Associate Job Responsibilities:

• Production
• Processes, picks and packs online orders.
• Understands and follows daily plans and goals for achieving individual and team production requirements and quality standards.
• Follows product shipping standards in accordance with policy and procedure.
• Labels packages and containers leaving the work area.
• Considers cost and special handling requirements when selecting proper packing materials and techniques to ensure shipments arrive at the correct address and undamaged.
• Handles donated items responsibly to avoid unnecessary damage.

• Housekeeping

• Ensures housekeeping standards are met on a daily basis.
• Maintains work station in a clear, organized and safe condition.
• Participates in all regular and occasional cleaning activities.
• Stores housekeeping and maintenance supplies in designated areas and informs supervisor when supplies are low or out.

• Safety & Asset Protection

• Follows and adheres to loss prevention and safety procedures and initiatives.
• Participates in monthly safety meetings, huddles and drills.
• Works to reduce workplace incidents and accidents.
• Wears personal protective equipment as required.
• Reviews updates to Consumer Products Safety Recalls binder to ensure compliance.
• Ensures personal belongings are stored in assigned locker.

• Teamwork

E-Commerce Shipping Associate Job Requirements & Working Conditions:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, employees, and customers.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize.
• Excellent decision making skills.
• Strong attention to details.
• Ability and desire to provide excellent customer service.
