CNC Lathe Operator Salary: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour (Starting pay depending on experience) Location: Spring, TX 77379 Work Schedule: 40 Hours per week +

• Monday - Thursday: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Includes a 30-minute lunch break)
• Fridays: 6:00 AM - 12:00 PM (Noon) - Overtime hours scheduled on an as-needed basis

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented CNC Lathe Operator . In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating a 2-axis CNC lathe to produce high-quality precision parts. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment, a strong understanding of Fanuc controls, and proficiency in using precision measuring instruments. This is a full-time, 40-hour work week position featuring an appealing 4-day regular schedule, with potential for overtime on Fridays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate a 2-axis CNC lathe machine.
• Utilize Fanuc controls to safely manage machine operations.
• Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure part quality.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job specifications.
• Measure and inspect finished workpieces to ensure tight tolerances are met.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience: Minimum of 6 months of experience operating CNC lathe machines.
• Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge of Fanuc controls.
• Equipment: Proven ability to accurately read micrometers and dial calipers.
• Basic Math: Solid understanding of basic shop math and blueprints.
• Attributes: High attention to detail, strong work ethic, and punctual attendance.
• Physical Demand: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs as required.
