2nd Shift Freezer Selector

The Order Selector is responsible for accurately selecting, palletizing, and preparing food and non-food products for customer orders within a multi-level warehouse environment. Using an electric pallet jack and other warehouse equipment, this position ensures orders are completed safely, accurately, and efficiently while maintaining productivity, quality, and safety standards.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and preferred work methods.
• Maintain a safe work environment and immediately report unsafe conditions or behaviors.
• Review daily work assignments and prepare materials needed for operations.
• Conduct pre-shift safety inspections on pallet jacks, forklifts, and other equipment.
• Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Meet established productivity and order accuracy standards.
• Operate an electric pallet jack to travel through warehouse storage areas and locate products.
• Select and pick products from warehouse racks and pick slots according to customer orders.
• Stack products onto single or double pallets as directed.
• Transport completed customer orders to the shipping dock staging area.
• Shrink-wrap, label, and prepare pallets for shipment as needed.
• Replace or recharge equipment batteries and complete vehicle inspection checklists.
• Secure equipment and complete required documentation at the end of each shift.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support warehouse operations.

Job Requirements

Education:

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required.

Experience:

• 6 to 12 months of warehouse and/or distribution experience required.
• Previous experience operating warehouse equipment is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift and stack products weighing 10-35 pounds on a regular basis.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment for extended periods.

Work Environment:

• Must be able to work in multi-temperature warehouse environments, including:
• Dry storage
• Cooler
• Freezer

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to order accuracy.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and operational guidelines.
• Dependable attendance and willingness to work overtime as needed.

Schedule:

• Workweek: Sunday through Thursday
• Shift: 3:00 PM until finish
• Overtime and extended hours may be required based on business needs and workload.
