Position Summary:

The main duty of this position is to perform the appropriate level of nursing care to skilled nursing home residents for a skilled nursing facility which includes a Sub-Acute unit.

Position Requirements:

Taking Resident Vital Signs: Ensures that resident’s temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, and O2 saturation are taken and recorded as per instruction. Knows normal standards and appropriately reports abnormalities in a timely manner. Ask the resident if they are in pain and report to the nurse as indicated.

Education and Licensure:

· Minimum of H.S. degree or equivalent (required) · Must be certified as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the State of California. · Must be certified in CPR. · Must maintain current certification in good standing during employment with this facility in accordance with the State Board.

EXPERIENCE:

Preferred: Long-Term care experience preferably in a sub-acute setting
