Maintenance Tech

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented professional to join our team in a hands-on maintenance role. This position plays an important part in keeping equipment, systems, and facilities operating safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality work, responds well to changing priorities, and enjoys solving practical problems in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and basic repairs on equipment, tools, and facility systems
• Respond to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues in a timely and professional manner
• Identify worn, damaged, or malfunctioning components and complete repairs or replacements as needed
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and completed work orders
• Assist with setup, installation, and adjustment of equipment and machinery
• Support general facility upkeep, including basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical tasks as appropriate
• Follow safety procedures and comply with all applicable policies, standards, and regulations
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to coordinate work

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in maintenance, facilities, mechanical repair, or a related field preferred
• Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Ability to read and follow instructions, technical documents, and safety guidelines
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Good communication and time management skills
• Physical ability to lift, bend, stand, climb, and perform manual tasks as needed

Preferred Skills

• Experience with preventative maintenance programs or computerized maintenance systems
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or mechanical systems
• Forklift, lift equipment, or other relevant certifications
• Experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, commercial, or industrial environment
