MOBILE AIR, TECHNICAL OUTSIDE SALES TALENT SOURCING BRIEF
Source candidates for a Territory Sales Representative position selling commercial and industrial temporary climate control rental solutions for Mobile Air & Power Rentals. For this search, focus on HVAC and climate control rental sales. Power generation sales experience can be transferable, but it should not replace evidence of relevant customers, territory development, and consultative technical selling. The objective is to find a sales professional who can develop new business, establish contractor and facility relationships, identify temporary heating and cooling needs, and coordinate with operations to deliver the right rental solution. Prioritize candidates who combine prospecting discipline, commercial judgment, technical curiosity, and personal accountability for revenue growth. A strong candidate can explain what they personally did to win business, expand accounts, and build a productive territory.
- The sales environment Mobile Air serves customers who need temporary climate control for planned projects, unexpected equipment failures, seasonal demand, renovations, shutdowns, and other operational requirements.
Relevant customer groups include:
- Mechanical contractors and commercial HVAC contractors.
- General contractors and construction project teams.
- Hospitals and healthcare facilities.
- Schools, universities, and institutional campuses.
- Manufacturing plants and industrial facilities.
- Warehouses and distribution centers.
- Commercial property owners and property management companies.
- Facility managers, maintenance managers, plant engineers, and building engineers.
- Other commercial and industrial customers with temporary heating, cooling, or air management needs.
Candidates should be comfortable moving between contractor offices, active jobsites, mechanical rooms, facility walkthroughs, and conversations with business decision-makers. Look for professionals who understand that a customer may be purchasing business continuity, occupant comfort, protection of a production schedule, or an immediate solution to an equipment failure. The rental equipment is part of the solution
