Contract Recruiter

Location: Remote in AZ, IL, IN, IA, NE, OK, TN, TX Time Zone: Must be available to work within Pacific Time Zone hours PragerU’s mission is to promote American values through the creative use of digital media, technology, and edutainment. As we continue to experience rapid growth, we’re looking for a Contract Recruiter (4–6 month assignment or potentially longer) to help us attract and hire exceptional, mission-aligned talent. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering a high-quality candidate experience. You’ll partner closely with hiring managers and the Talent Acquisition team to build strong pipelines, move quickly on top talent, and leverage AI to enhance and scale our recruiting efforts.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Own and drive full-cycle recruiting across all departments, including roles supporting marketing, production, content, operations, and fundraising from sourcing through offer
• Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies, including direct outreach, networking, and leveraging AI-powered sourcing tools
• Proactively source passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, networking, referrals, Boolean searches, AI tools, and other creative strategies
• Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines for both active and future roles
• Deliver an exceptional candidate experience through clear communication and timely follow-up
• Use data and recruiting tools to track progress and optimize hiring outcomes
• Partner closely with VP, People Operations and Director, Talent Acquisition to understand hiring needs and provide strategic guidance throughout the process
• Collaborate with the broader People team on recruiting initiatives and projects as needed

Successful Candidates Will Possess:

• 3–5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• MUST have strong sourcing skills using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search techniques, referrals, networking, and other creative sourcing methods
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage candidates and stakeholders at all levels
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to adapt quickly
• Strong judgment and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
• Experience working with Google Workspace and applicant tracking systems
• A collaborative, positive attitude and a strong sense of ownership
• Strong alignment with PragerU’s principles, conservative values, and genuine enthusiasm for our content and audience

Final offer amounts depend on multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise, and most recent market data. This position is eligible for an annual bonus based on personal and company performance, in addition to our robust benefits package.
