Interventional Rad Tech Job, Full-Time Day shift plus call, Neuroendovascular Team (Hybrid OR)
Powers Health is hiring an Interventional Rad Tech for the Neuro-Endovascular Team to work days with call at Community Hospital in Munster, IN.
The Hybrid Endovascular team delivers peri-operative care to endovascular/surgical patients, primarily neuro-endovascular, structural heart, and peripheral vascular, with a large focus on our Acute Stroke and TAVR programs.
Interventional Rad Tech Roles and Responsibilities:
- Functions as a member of the Hybrid Endovascular team.
- Serves the neuro-endovascular, neurosurgical, structural heart, and peripheral vascular patient population. A large portion of this position is focused on the stroke patient, and the hospital’s designation as a Comprehensive Stroke Center.
- Assist the physician with complex vascular interventional procedures, proficiently operate radiologic equipment while adhering to the professional standards required, and function well as member of a team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Graduate of an A.R.R.T. certified school of radiological technology. Must be ARRT registered.
- Must have a license to operate radiologic equipment in the State of Indiana.
- One year of experience in general radiography preferred.
- Experience in Cardiac Catheterization, Interventional Radiology Lab of Special Imaging preferred.
- Previous experience with implantable devices is preferred.
- Should have a working knowledge of Angiographic procedures and sterile techniques.
- CPR certification.
- Successful completion of basic arrhythmia course.
