Warehouse Maintenance

Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Warehouse Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and repairs throughout our warehouse and facility. The ideal candidate has basic hands-on knowledge of machinery, electrical systems, HVAC, vehicles, and general building maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs on warehouse equipment and machinery.
• Troubleshoot basic mechanical and electrical problems.
• Perform minor electrical repairs and maintenance when qualified.
• Assist with basic HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Perform basic maintenance and repairs on company vehicles, carts, forklifts, and other equipment.
• Inspect equipment and facilities and identify maintenance issues.
• Replace belts, filters, hoses, lights, switches, hardware, and other basic components.
• Use basic hand and power tools safely and properly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Assist outside contractors or specialized technicians when needed.
• Perform general building and warehouse maintenance duties.
• Respond to maintenance issues in a timely manner.
• Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA requirements.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance.
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge is preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot and identify common equipment problems.
• Comfortable using hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize maintenance requests.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Previous warehouse, maintenance, manufacturing, automotive, or facilities experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to approximately 50 pounds.
• Ability to work around machinery, vehicles, and warehouse equipment.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and warehouse conditions.

Compensation: $16-$20 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
