About the Role A Potbelly Team Member helps bring the joy back to lunch. You’ll create a great experience at our Potbelly Sandwich Shop by delivering fast, friendly service and consistently serving high-quality food in a clean, welcoming environment.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver fast, friendly, and accurate customer service
• Prepare sandwiches, salads, and other menu items to Potbelly standards
• Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene standards
• Work across multiple stations (prep, register, food line, etc.)
• Restock supplies and keep the shop organized
• Handle cash transactions and customer orders
• Resolve customer concerns with professionalism

• You have strong communication skills
• You enjoy problem-solving
• You love working in a fast-paced environment

Basic Qualifications

• You can handle potential allergens: peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood and shellfish
• You can handle the ambient heat of the kitchen
• You’re at least 15 years old
• You're able to stand/walk for 4-6 hours or as needed
• You’re able to lift up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 20 pounds occasionally
