Shuttle Bus Driver

• • • • • • Employment Type: Full Time Schedule: second shift, 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. As a shuttle driver, you bring students to and from campus, ensuring timely pick-up and safe drop-off. Shuttle routes may be in highly populated, high-traffic urban areas. In any area, drivers may provide transportation for events, including field trips, during and outside normal operating hours. While on the road, you are responsible for maintaining a safe environment for everyone inside the bus.

Must have a valid CT Driver’s License and PPE endorsement. Experience working with Students is strongly preferred.

• Eligible candidates must possess an excellent safety and clean driving record. Post University uses MVR reports as part of our pre-employment screening process
• Must have positive energy and enthusiasm
• Must demonstrate compassion, patience, and outstanding customer service when interacting with Students and their families.
• Transport children and other passengers to and from stops along the shuttle route
• Adhere to the assigned schedule
• Obey all traffic laws
• Always maintain a clean and mechanically sound bus
• Ensure the safety of all students
• Assist students with getting on and off the bus as needed
• Perform inspections of the bus before and after each route
• Attend safety meetings as required
• Transport Students to Special Events

Our drivers are responsible for ensuring that all clients are properly cared for as they are transported to and from their destination.
