Dedicated Delivery Driver - NON CDL

Job Description

In this Start-up, Last Mile dedicated delivery team, our Dedicated Delivery Drivers are responsible for creating an excellent delivery experience for our recipients. Drivers are expected to arrive promptly, scan/sort their packages, organize the route and follow customer instructions and follow up with our Management team when issues arise. Driver's must also adhere to all state driving laws and company operational standards. Packages will weigh up to 50 LBS and most deliveries will be residential (house or apartment).

Duties & Responsibilities *Driving*

• Safely operate vehicle less than 10,000 GVWR (ram promaster or cutaway box truck)
• Must adhere to all Michigan State driving laws
• Must be comfortable driving in a variety of road and weather conditions

*Daily Operations*

• Drivers must properly scan packages, sort delivery stops into totes and organize all stops with precise accuracy
• Bend, lift, twist, kneel, stoop, reach, pull and push
• Must be comfortable using mobile technology for GPS, route delivery execution and other job related functions
• Lift and carry 50 LBS. on a regular basis
• Deliver an average of 100 stops per day
• Walking 15,000 steps daily average

• Provide a positive representation of Post and Parcel INC to our Dedicated Partners
• Provide a high-quality delivery experience through accuracy and customer communication to our partners and their customers
• Must be able to read, write and speak English

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age
• Must possess a VALID Class E Driver's License
• Must be willing to submit for a Background check and MVR
• Must be willing to submit for a 4-panel drug screen
• Ability to lift 50 LBS on a regular, consistent basis
• Previous delivery experience preferred, not required
• Comfortable working outdoors, in the elements (snow, wind, rain, heat, humidity)
