Adjunct Veterinary Technician Instructor

• The Veterinary Technician Instructor will teach within the set curriculum of the program and tailor each class’s materials to our student’s learning abilities. This position will include on-campus lab time, running online courses, and assistance with the transition from an on-ground program to an online program.

Large animal experience needed to teach 1 week course per term. Shift hours for the week are Mon-Thurs 10am-5pm

Position Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years related work experience as a veterinary technician required.
• Minimum of an Associate’s degree from an AVMA accredited program preferred
• Credentialed Veterinarian Technician (CVT) required
• Hands-on work with horses and cattle required; experience with goats and poultry is strongly preferred.
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to use common software programs (MS Word/Excel/Outlook etc.)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Great interpersonal skills
• Flexible with hours and schedule through the week
