Carprenter

The Carpenter is responsible for constructing, installing, repairing, and maintaining wooden and other structural components for commercial buildings such as offices, schools, hospitals, retail spaces, and industrial facilities. Wage OFFER: $56,846 Specific duties typically involve: - Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and building plans to determine materials and layout. - Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials such as wood, metal studs, drywall, and other construction materials. - Build and install frameworks, partitions, doors, windows, ceilings, and flooring systems in commercial structures. - Install and repair fixtures, millwork, cabinetry, and trim. - Operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely and efficiently. - Lay out and frame walls, floors, and roofs according to design specifications. - Ensure work meets local building codes and company safety standards. - Collaborate with other trades (electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians, etc.) to coordinate project phases. - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. - Inspect and repair existing structures when needed. - Follow all company policies and OSHA safety guidelines.
